A few weeks ago, legendary fashion house, Prada, revealed it would close out 2022 with a holiday NFT time capsule that included a collectable and a sweater. Now, the eminent clothing firm will ring in the new year with another Time Capsule drop heading to the blockchain on January 5, 2023.
Prada Takes Time Capsule Tally up to 8
This incoming time capsule will arrive as Prada’s 8th drop in the ongoing NFT project, and will reportedly feature Interferenza Ottica Art print designs that were produced in 1969 by Enzo Ragazzini. The front of the shirt will feature Prada’s famous logo while the back will have the word ‘January’ printed on it. This seems to have become a theme with these capsule collections, as Prada’s last drop has the word ‘December’ embroidered on the shirts as well.
Prada will sell 50 shirts featuring these designs, which will come with accompanying NFTs from January 5, 2023. These NFTs, like those from previous drops, offer exclusive perks for their holders, not just for sentiment’s sake. In this case, those who hold the NFTs get access to Prada’s Menswear Fall/Winter 2023 fashion show in Milan. To buy these NFTs, users need to join the Prada Crypted discord channel and become verified holders.
