The wait is finally over for Snoop Dogg fans as the rapper’s land sale within the Sandbox finally goes live today, at 1 pm UTC! This is undoubtedly among the most expected releases of the month, following Snoop Dogg’s alter ego reveal (Cozomo de’ Mendici).
About Snoop Dogg’s Sandbox Land Sale
If you’re ready for the ultimate Snoop Dogg metaverse experience, say no more. The iconic rapper and NFT whale is selling plenty of LAND within The Sandbox, dubbed as Snoopverse.
Accordingly, there will be several types of lands up for sale:
- 122 common lands (1011 SAND / $6,237)
- 67 premium lands (4683 SAND / $28,894)
- 3 estates (to be auctioned off via OpenSea)
The common lands are surprisingly cheap, considering that the cheapest lands within the Sandbox cost 1,790 SAND. In fact, even the premium lands have a decent price tag, given the hype around the project.
Notably, each premium land will also bring a series of extra NFTs. For example, holders will benefit from The Snoopverse Early Access Pass. This exclusive pass will give holders early access to the latest creations launched by Snoop Dogg within the metaverse. What’s more, premium land buyers will also enjoy a Brown Sugar car and a statue of the rapper himself.
The rapper’s NFT journey continues
Back in September, the NFT world was shocked as Snoop Dogg revealed he was behind the Twitter NFT whale Cozomo de’ Mendici. Since then, the rapper has been actively tapping into NFTs by launching his own collectibles.
His most notable collaboration to date is with The Sandbox metaverse, where he replicated his real-life mansion and more. However, just over a week ago, a Snoop Dogg-themed NFT launched via SuperRare as part of Miami Art Week.
