The Sandbox Game Jam Competition Will Award 50k SAND to Game Makers

If you’re a game creator and you love The Sandbox, your creations can be included in the metaverse via the Game Jam Competition! Accordingly, the iconic metaverse will offer prizes of up to 20,000 $SAND and the chance to get features in the Sandbox Alpha Season 2.

The Sandbox Game Jam Competition: main rules

The Sandbox started 2022 by celebrating gaming content creators – and for good reason. Following the successful Alpha Season 1, the metaverse will now allow its top game makers shape the second season.

The Sandbox Game Jam Competition has already begun on January 5th, but there’s still enough time to participate. Here are the main rules for each entry:

• Participants must use the Game Maker software created by The Sandbox;
• The only assets you can use are the ones you own, the Game Makers basics, or the ones you’ve created;
• Each entry must include a mission, quest, or other type of game;
• Admins insisted on the importance of delivering high-quality entries only.

The rules may be strict, but all the effort is worth it.

What about the prizes?

First of all, your creation gets to be featured by one of the most successful metaverses to date. The contest winner will have their game included in the Sandbox Alpha Season 2!

Secondly, the Sandbox Game Jam Competition offers impressive prizes to the top winners:

• 1st place: 20,000 $SAND
• 2nd place: 15,000 $SAND
• 3rd place: 8,000 $SAND
• 4th – 10th places: 1,000 $SAND

Remember, the competition ends on January 18th, so make sure to submit your entry using the official form ASAP. As soon as the deadline arrives, The Sandbox staff will vote for their favorites between 19-25th January. At last, the project admis will announce the winners on January 29th. Good luck!
